What is SingASong and what can I make?
SingASong turns an idea into a finished song — no studio, no instruments, no experience needed. Describe the song you want, write your own lyrics, start from a photo, or just hum a melody. You can also make AI covers sung in your own voice, generate lyrics on their own, and turn a song and a photo into a short music video. Everything you make is saved to your library, and you can post it to the community feed if you want other people to hear it.
How do I make a song in my own voice?
Open the AI Cover tab and tap Add My Voice, then record about 30 seconds to 3 minutes of yourself speaking or singing — a quiet room and no backing music give the best result. Once your voice profile is ready you can pick it whenever you make an AI cover. Your voice profile is private to your account: nobody else can use it, and you can't use anyone else's. You may only submit your own voice, or the voice of someone who has given you written permission.
What does a subscription include?
A subscription unlocks song creation, AI covers, genre changes, voice profiles and the Lyric Generator, and includes a daily allowance of credits for using them. The allowance is the same on every plan length, it resets once a day, and any part of it you don't use doesn't carry over to the next day. Music videos are paid for separately with credit packs. The price, the billing period and the renewal terms are always shown before you confirm a purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
If you subscribed inside the app, you cancel through the store you bought from — on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions › SingASong › Cancel Subscription; on Android, Play Store › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › SingASong › Cancel subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. When you cancel you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. If you subscribed on our website, email info@singasong.app and we'll cancel it for you.
What happens to the photos and voice recordings I upload?
SingASong creates music using AI models run by specialist providers, so what you submit has to be sent to them to make what you asked for. Before that happens the app asks your permission on a screen that tells you what is being sent, who receives it and what it's used for — and if you decline, nothing is sent and nothing is generated. There are three separate permissions, for song prompts, photos and voice recordings, and you can withdraw any of them at any time in Settings › AI data sharing. Our Privacy Policy names every provider and states exactly what each one receives.
Can I use what I make commercially?
Every track is yours to keep, download and share. Commercial use depends on your plan and is set out in our Terms of Use — please read section 5.7 before you monetise anything, and note that distribution platforms apply their own rules to AI-generated music.
